The Hokies picked up their fifth road ACC win of the season as they traveled down to Coral Gables and defeated the Hurricanes, 81-68. After scoring just 36 points against Boston College earlier in the week, Virginia Tech scored more than 36 points in each half against Miami, shooting 52.5% from the floor for the game and making 12 three-pointers. Jaydon Young scored a career-high 27 points and made five three-pointers. Ben Burnham went 4-5 on three-pointers and scored 14 points. For Miami, A.J. Staton-McCray has a team-high 21 points on 6-11 shooting, including 4-6 on threes.
