71 - 66 The Louisville Cardinals never trailed as they picked up a road win over the Hokies, 71-66. This victory was Louisville's 22nd win of the season and 15th ACC win of the year. Virginia Tech was able to hit 11 three-pointers to keep the game close and even tied up the game twice in the final minutes. Louisville turned 22 Virginia Tech turnovers into 26 points. Chucky Hepburn led the Cardinals with 15 points and six assists. Terrence Edwards Jr. and James Scott each scored 13 points. J'Vonne Hadley added 11 points and eight rebounds. Brandon Rechsteiner came off the bench to hit four three-pointers and scored 18 points for Virginia Tech.
