North Carolina vs. Miami: The North Carolina Tar Heels once again were beneficiaries of late-game heroics as they battled back from a nine-point deficit to beat Miami, 67-65. Andrew Platek drove and hit a tough shot over two Miami defenders in the final seconds to give the Tar Heels the win. Moments earlier Isaiah Wong had made a tough rainbow jumper to tie the game at 65, but Roy Williams opted to not call a timeout and Platek's heroics gave the Heels the win. Leaky Black led all scorers with 16 points, hitting all four of his three-point attempts in the game.
