Georgia Tech outlasts Clemson 89-86 in Triple OT

The Yellow Jackets outlasted the Tigers in a triple-overtime thriller, 89-86. This was the first ACC Conference game to go into triple overtime since February 2020. While Georgia Tech only made 48% of their free throws, the Yellow Jackets had 24 offensive rebounds resulting in 29 second-chance points, compared to only 13 for Clemson. Naithan George scored a career-high 28 points with seven assists and five rebounds. Baye Ndongo had a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Duncan Powell came off the bench to score 19 points and grab eight rebounds for Georgia Tech. Clemson's Chase Hunter stuffed the stat sheet with 28 points, seven rebounds, four assists, five steals, and two blocks. Ian Schieffelin had 23 points, eight rebounds, and three blocks.
