The Hokies used some clutch late game offense and defense to win their second consecutive game as they defeated ACC rival UVA, 75-74. The Hokies drained 11 treys and shot 52.4% from beyond the arc in addition to 52.1% from the field. Jaden Schutt led VT with 18 points to go with 5 assists and Tobi Lawal added 17 points with 5 rebounds of his own. Isaac McKneely led all scorers on the afternoon with 19 points for the 'Hoos while also chipping in 7 assists.
