Maryland was in action last night and while it wasn't pretty, the Terps managed a comeback win over Florida International. The comeback was no small task considering Terrell Stoglin was on the bench with 4 fouls for most of the second half. According to Mark Turgeon the win was an important one (via the Washington Post)...
“We learned to play without him, and that was great,” Coach Mark Turgeon said of Stoglin, the ACC’s leading scorer at 22.5 points per game entering Wednesday’s contest. “You could not have scripted it better.”
Maryland has now won all of their games by less than 10 points.
The ACC now takes 2 more days off before several games on Saturday including NC State hosting #1 Syracuse.
