Danny Manning has landed his first commitment of the 2015 recruiting class.
According to Alex Kline, of The Recruit Scoop, 4-star point guard Bryant Crawford has verbally committed to Danny Manning and Wake Forest University. Crawford is a 4-star prospect who attends Gonzaga High School in Washington, D.C. Crawford chose Wake Forest over offers from SMU and Georgetown, among others. He visited Wake Forest on the weekend of September 6th.
This is an outstanding pick up for Danny Manning and his staff. The 2016 class gets a lot of discussion as being so critical, but Manning had to add some foundation pieces in the 2015 class. By landing Crawford, Manning has certainly done that. Crawford can attack the basket, stroke it from the outside, and finish at the bucket.
Wake Forest fans should be thrilled with this addition. Please join me in welcoming Bryant to Wake Forest! It has been a great weekend to be a Deacon!
ITS BEEN A LONG PROCESS! THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR THE SUPPORT! ITS OFFICIAL I AM COMMITTED TO WAKE FOREST! #?GODEACS pic.twitter.com/Ji3ewz6Olo
