A new streak begins.

Louisville bounced back from its first loss of 2025 with an 84-58 stomping of Boston College Wednesday night in Chestnut Hill.
The Cardinals shot an even 50.0 percent from the field and got 22 points from J’Vonne Hadley as they got rid of any bad taste that may have been lingering following a 77-70 upset loss at Georgia Tech on Saturday.
The lone downside of the evening came in the second half when Chucky Hepburn left the game and didn’t return after suffering what appeared to be some sort of groin injury. Louisville only extended its lead with its star on the bench, as Terrence Edwards Jr. ran the offense pristinely over the game’s final three segments. Edwards Jr. finished with 19 points, eight rebounds and six assists.

Louisville is now off to a 10-2 or better start in conference play for the first time since 2014, and just the fourth time ever in program history.
It wasn’t always the most aesthetically pleasing effort against a short-handed (and bad) Boston College team, but a 26-point conference road win against anyone, under any circumstances should always be properly celebrated.
This was the bounce-back effort everyone wanted to see.
The show continues Saturday with the added bonus of celebrating the 2005 Final Four team. Already counting down the hours.
