For the first time in NBA history, the draft was split into a two-night event with night one being the first round of the draft. On that first night, four ACC players heard their names called. The first ACC player off the board was Pitt guard Carlton 'Bub' Carrington with the 14th pick. And then two picked later Duke guard Jared McCain was the next ACC player to hear his name called. Miami's Kyshawn George and Virginia's Ryan Dunn rounded out the ACC selections on night one.
