The first major addition for the 2025-26 Louisville men’s basketball roster has arrived.
Adrian Wooley, a 6’5 guard widely believed to be one of the 10 best players available in the transfer portal, picked the Cardinals over Alabama and many others on Monday. On3’s Joe Tipton was the first to report the news.
As a freshman at Kennesaw State in 2024-25, Wooley averaged 18.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game. He shot 51.2 percent from the field and a sparkling 42.2 percent from three. Wooley was held to single digits in scoring just twice all season.
The Conference USA Freshman of the Year as well as a First Team All-CUSA performer this past season, Wooley had previously announced a final list of schools made up of U of L, Alabama, Auburn and Kansas. His commitment to Pat Kelsey comes just two days after completing his official visit to The Ville.
This is a hell of a start towards Kelsey and company assembling a roster this spring that ca get Louisville even closer to where we expect the program to be on an annual basis.
