Florida State landed a big commitment from the state of Virginia on Friday, as running back Khalan Laborn announced that he would be heading to Tallahassee and joining the Seminoles recruiting class for 2017.
Laborn held several offers from programs all over the country and at times, it looks like he could be picking programs like Virginia Tech and North Carolina. But in the end, it was the Seminoles that won the battle.
As a junior, Laborn ran for 2,228 yards and had 32 touchdowns on the season.
Laborn is the second running back commitment for 2017, now joining Zaquandre White. With his commitment, it now gives the Seminoles a fantastic running back tandem and playmakers in the coming years.
Laborn is the 11th commitment for Florida State in 2017.
