Unlike the last week, Saturday's action consisted of one-sided contests. It took until the 5th and final game of the day for the viewers to get a good finish. Syracuse managed to jump all over Pitt in the first half and hold on. FSU steadily put Virginia Tech away winning by double-digits. Duke jumped to a 20 point lead in the first half against BC, and held on late. Louisville jumped on Georgia Tech early and ended up winning by 15.
The injury bug bit Duke again as 5th year senior Amile Jefferson appears to have re-injured the same foot that caused him to miss the majority of last year. Jefferson was playing extremely well against BC, leading the team in scoring when he went down.
