@NCStateFootball @hokiesmash @TalkinACCSports Question: Will Jacoby deliver a "ACC Player of the year" type of year?

Good question here… There are a lot of players that may be in the way of Brissett winning the ACC Player of the year title. Clemson’s Deshaun Watson, Georgia Tech’s Justin Thomas, Pittsburgh’s Tyler Boyd and James Conner, and should he play this year FSU RB Dalvin Cook all probably start the year ahead of Brissett. Miami’s Brad Kaaya is in the picture too. Brissett has talent though, and plenty of it.
He ran for 167 yards against UNC, and threw for 359 last year against FSU. He completed nearly 58% of passes and threw for over 2600 yards. Brissett has the ability for an ACC Player of the year , but he needs more consistency. He had a 4 for 18 performance against Clemson last season, and a 14 for 30 game against Boston College. Both were blowout losses. Remember though this was Brissett’s first year starting for NC State. In his second year, I expect we will see more consistency out of Brissett.
That is why people are so high on NC State this off-season. In a league loaded with really good QB’s Brissett’s name is up there among the better ones. Will he win the ACC player of the year? I don’t think so, but I believe he could have a very solid year that could push him into the 2nd or 3rd round of the NFL draft.
