ACC basketball had several formidable opponents on Friday and the league failed to rise up and pull off an upset. Wake Forest lost to Villanova, Clemson lost to Xavier in tournament action, while Georgia Tech lost to Ohio. NC State, Syracuse, Notre Dame, FSU, Pitt and UNC all managed to pull of W's.
