Not a great night for the ACC once again. Pitt didn't compete against San Diego State in Maui and Virginia Tech never had a shot against Northern Iowa. Syracuse and Virginia rolled past cupcakes, while Miami avoided a tricky back-to-back game at Charlotte to win 77-74.
FSU beat The Citadel without Aaron Thomas and Devon Bookert. Thomas is still recovering from the dizzy spells brought on by dehydration that he suffered during Sunday's game against UMass. Bookert recently had surgery on his foot and is out indefinitely. In their absence, freshman Xavier Rathan-Mayes shined scoring 26 points for the Noles.
This will likely be the last Morning Linkfest for a few days as I'll be traveling and spending time with family. I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
