The story on Saturday had to have been on the football field. Whether it was Duke beating UNC to clinch the Coastal Division championship, Clemson losing to South Carolina, or a double OT game between Georgia and Georgia Tech, it was an eventful day in ACC football. On the basketball court, Georgia Tech and Wake Forest laid a couple eggs, while NC State thankfully woke up in the second half.
Georgia Tech scored 46 points in their first 27 minutes, and just 12 points the rest of the way as they lost to St. John's 69-58. Wake Forest' solid early season play took a left turn against Tennessee, as the Deacs lost 82-63. NC State found them trailing Eastern Kentucky 27-21 at halftime, but the Pack ended up winning 75-56 behind a big second half from TJ Warren.
Pitt and Virginia picked up relatively easy wins on Saturday.
On Sunday, there are 3 games on the ACC schedule as UNC takes on UAB, Notre Dame matches up with Cornell, and Miami plays Arizona State. Check out the game previews for each below.
