I'm not sure whether Pitt or Clemson made a statement on Tuesday night, perhaps both did. Pitt came away with the 76-43 win and showed how good they can be on both ends of floor. The Tigers, who had been known this season for their stout defense, were anything but that against Pitt. FSU led Notre Dame most of the game, but the Irish tied it up with just over 30 seconds remaining. Ian Miller channeled his inner-Michael Snaer and dropped in a floater with 4 seconds left to give FSU the victory over the Irish. Some clutch play late by Trae Golden helped lead Georgia Tech to a 68-60 victory over Boston College.
Tonight, we have 2 matchups in the ACC. Virginia Tech hosts Wake Forest at 7 while Miami hosts Duke at 7:30. You can bet the Blue Devils remember watching Miami slap the floor when they were up big last season. Of course, who knows how Duke will play on the road?
