Another day, another close Syracuse game, this one a 57-55 win over Maryland. The Orange seemingly tried to give it away late when the Terps caused havoc with a 1-2-1-1 press. Syracuse had already built up a lead that stayed around 10 points for most of the second half, but turnovers late let Maryland back in it. Syracuse played the second half without Jerami Grant (sore back), and his absence was evident. A win is a win for the Orange, but you have to wonder if Syracuse won't be seeing that trap again.
