It was the Trevor Cooney show for Syracuse on Monday night. While the Orange saw several players struggle, including ACC preseason player of the year CJ Fair, Cooney led the way with 33 points and 9-12 3 point shooting. Syracuse managed to get by Notre Dame with a 61-55 victory and remain undefeated in conference play.
A couple quick injury/personnel updates around the league...
- Georgia Tech: Solomon Poole was dismissed from the team. Also in the article, it says Brian Gregory expects Trae Golden to play tonight. There is even a chance we see Robert Carter, Jr in action tonight for the Yellow Jackets.
- FSU: Ian Miller is still very sore after his injury on Saturday, and Leonard Hamilton says he is doubtful for FSU's next game.
- Wake Forest: Codi Miller-McIntyre reportedly practiced some yesterday and is expected to play tonight vs Duke.
- Pittsburgh: Jamie Dixon expects Talib Zanna to play Wednesday against Miami. Zanna did finish the game on Sunday after hurting his ankle versus Virginia.
