The Eagles had a memorable 23-19 win over Michigan State in the Red Bandana game. Playing in a constant rain storm, Boston College's Thomas Castellanos found Lewis Bond for a 42-yard catch-and-run touchdown with 1:28 left in the game. Then Max Tucker sealed the win with an end zone interception with less than 40 seconds left on the clock. Castellanos completed 10 of 16 passes for 140 yards and a touchdown. Lewis Bond caught six passes for 102 yards and a touchdown. Running back Treshaun Ward ran the ball 14 times for 102 yards and a touchdown for the Eagles.
