Clemson had no problems with Boston College on Friday night as the Tigers won 56-10.
Boston College got on the board first with field goal, but Wayne Gallman answered with a 59 yard TD run for Clemson. Deshaun Watson followed that with 2 first quarter TD passes to Mike Williams and Jordan Leggett to put Clemson up 21-3 after the first quarter.
The second quarter turned a little sloppy as the Tigers turned it over once, and the defenses got stops.
After halftime, Clemson found their offensive rhythm once again Deshaun Watson found Deon Cain for a 29 yard TD pass. Watson found Cain again a few minutes later yard TD pass to put Clemson up 35-3. As time wound down in the 3rd quarter, Patrick Towles did get BC in the end zone with a 1 yard pass to Bobby Wolford to make it 35-10 at the end of 3 quarters.
The 4th quarter belonged primarily to the second string, but that didn't stop Clemson from adding on 3 more scores and winning 56-10.
Clemson outgained Boston College 503 yards to 251 yards on the night despite the Eagles having the ball for 16 more minutes.
