Clemson featured two outstanding quarterbacks in its week one win over Furman. Graduate student Kelly Bryant got the start and freshman Trevor Lawrence entered the game in the 2nd quarter to give the Tigers a powerful one-two punch. The two quarterbacks combined for 264 passing yards and 66 rushing yards while providing 5 touchdowns. Trevor Lawrence became the 2nd true freshman in Clemson history to throw 3 touchdown passes in a game.
