Darius Leonard has committed to Danny Manning and Wake Forest, according to Evan Daniels of Scout.com. Leonard chose Wake Forest over Virginia Tech, Miami, Drexel & Marquette. Darius has already received his undergraduate degree from Campbell, so he will be eligible to play immediately. He tweeted, "I feel Wake Forest University is the best place for me to continue my career and education."

Last season Leonard had an offensive rating of 111.5 and averaged 10.2 points and 4.9 rebounds per game for Campbell while shooting over 50% from the field, including 38% from beyond the arc. That three point shooting will be a tremendous asset to Wake Forest this season, as the team will be without three-point specialist Coron Williams.
Wake Forest now has filled 12 of 13 scholarships for next season and the coaching staff is still looking to fill the final spot. Please join me in welcoming Darius to Wake Forest! You can follow him @LennyProud_22.
