This season, Dortch caught 89 passes for 1078 yards and 8 touchdowns, becoming just the fifth receiver in Wake Forest history to eclipse the 1,000 yard mark in a season. He also added 25 punt returns for 276 yards and 2 touchdowns and 18 kickoff returns for 376 yards. Those numbers were good enough for Dortch to be named 1st team All-ACC and 2nd team All American as an all purpose player.
In the 20 games he played as a Deac, Dortch caught 142 passes for 1800 yard and 17 touchdowns, which comes out to 7.1 receptions for 90 yards per game. Those are some pretty impressive numbers.
While it is extremely sad to see Dortch go, we would like to wish him all the best and will definitely be rooting for him in the future.
Congratulations Greg!
