The College Football Hall of Fame fesitivties have been going on in New York over the past couple of days. For Tar Heel Dre Bly, who holds the career and single season mark for interceptions at UNC, was being inducted. His coach at the time, Mack Brown, was also in town and took the time for photos with Bly, Greg Ellis and Brian Simmons.
Ellis is UNC's career leader in sacks with 32.5 and third all time in tackles for a loss with 50. Bly intercepted 11 passes in 1996 and over his career had 20 picks. The same season Bly was setting the interception mark, Simmons himself had four interceptions including one he returned 84 yards for a touchdown against Louisville.
Those were the good old days.
