Louisville releases statement in response to book allegations

In response to a series of tweets by Yahoo Sports' Pat Forde revealing that Louisville is looking into claims from a new book that former director of operations Andre McGee paid a Louisville-based madame thousands for sex with players and recruits, U of L has released the following statement:

Sooo, yeah .... this wouldn't be the best way to start any weekend, let alone arguably the most important basketball recruiting weekend of the year.

All I know about this (outside of what has already been tweeted) is that Louisville has spend some significant time and resources trying to find anything that corroborates these allegations, and those efforts have turned up nothing so far. That's not to say that the allegations are totally false or that eventually something won't turn up, it's just where the situation stands right now.
