Louisville freshman forward Deng Adel, who has missed the Cardinals' last two games after suffering a sprained MCL, is expected to return to the court in two weeks. This according to U of L head coach Rick Pitino.
Adel started the first two games of the season for Louisville, scoring 6 points and grabbing 4 rebounds in the season-opening win over Samford, and then posting 3 points and 3 rebounds four nights later against Hartford.
The new timetable for Adel means he'll miss Louisville's showcase games against Saint Louis and Michigan State, but could be back as soon as the Dec. 12 game against Eastern Michigan.
