NC State and new head coach Kevin Keatts landed a major find on Wednesday when it was announced that the former Baylor graduate transfer Al Freeman would be heading to NC State.
Freeman is eligible to play immediately.
Freeman is coming off a season in which he averaged 23.2 minutes per game, 9.4 pointers, 2.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and shot 42.8 percent from the floor (39 percent from three). All those numbers were slightly down from his previous season, but it still provides the Wolfpack a much needed scorer with experience.
Freeman visited NC State back in April and is a native to Charlotte, NC.
