Miami led 22-15 at halftime and then shut out South Florida in the second half, outgaining the Bulls 338-143. The 'Canes held the nation's 8th best rushing offense to 62 rushing yards. Cam Ward continues to play like a top Heisman contender completing 24-34 passes for 404 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Isaiah Horton caught eight passes for 108 yards and a touchdown, while Xavier Restrepo caught six passes for 99 yards and a touchdown. Running back Damien Martinez had 81 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns. Freshman running back Jordan Lyle ran the ball six times for 104 yards and a touchdown.
