Despite finishing first in the NBA in points per game (106.2), the Denver Nuggets actually struggled from deep this past season. As a team they hit just 34-percent of their three-point shots (26th in the league). So it’s no wonder they brought in North Carolina’s Reggie Bullock for a little gym time. The good news…they were impressed.
From the Denver Post:
“Reggie is a terrific, terrific player,” said Mike Bratz, the team’s director of player personnel. “Good shooter, great size for a shooting guard, played in an outstanding program. We have some of those types of guys on our team right now, but you always want to look to improve yourself and take another look at a guy like Reggie. He’s one of the best shooters in the draft.”
As a junior, Bullock shot 43.6 percent from beyond the arc.
I’ve already predicted the Nuggets would take the Tar Heels shooting guard and this just makes me more confident in that prediction.
Denver did bring in 11 other players in for a workout, but none of those players are projected to be first-round picks.
