SMU vs. Nevada: The Mustangs went on the road and pulled out a late comeback win over the Wolfpack in Reno, 29-24. SMU trailed 24-13 heading into the fourth quarter, and then they outscored Nevada 16-0 in the final 8:15 of the game. Defensive lineman Jahfari Harvey had an important safety to cut the Nevada lead to 24-23. Quarterback Preston Stone found tight end RJ Maryland down the sideline for a 34-yard touchdown to give the Mustangs their first lead of the game with 1:18 left in the game. Stone completed 17 of 30 passes for 254 yards and a touchdown. Maryland had eight catches for 162 yards and a touchdown.
