Speaking at the 2024 ACC Kickoff event, SMU head coach Rhett Lashlee heaped praise on both quarterbacks Preston Stone and Kevin Jennings, Lashlee said that the team could not have achieved the kind of the success that they did last season without the contributions of both Stone and Jennings, adding that their team will need both of the players to reach the kind of success that they're aiming for this year.
