You know what they always say, it’s hard to say goodbye.
Despite ditching the Big East for the ACC, Syracuse will continue to face Villanova for at least three more seasons. The Orange will face the Wildcats once at home, once on the road at the Wells Fargo Center and then a third and final time in Madison Square Gardens.
I love the idea. I see no reason why the Orange should cut off their former Big East ties completely. However, let’s be honest, what everyone really wants to see is Syracuse vs. Georgetown or Syracuse vs. Connecticut. Now that would be fun.
