Enhanced Live Box Score

Boston College dominated tonight with a solid team effort. BC got off to a quick 15-2 start and really never looked back. Joe Trapani and Corey Raji were the offensive starts tonight for the Eagles. Trapani scored 20 and Raji added 14 points and 9 boards. Tyrese Rice finished with 16, but was really a non factor most of the game as he scored 13 of his points with 10 minutes to go in the second half. Josh Southern had 12 points and 9 rebounds, but I thought he could have played much better. On more than one occasion Southern was stuffed when trying to score. Boston College needs Southern to be more aggressive and use his size to his advantage, especially against smaller opponents. Reggie Jackson provided the highlight of the game when he dribbled the ball up the court and straight down the lane for the powerful flush between two defenders. Jackson did not shoot much, but he wowed the crowd with his athleticism and strong rim rattling dunks. Evan Ravenel had a strong block and showed a nice 18 foot jump shot.

Notes

  • Courtney Dunn did not play. He never even took off his sweat suit
  • Mosakowski the walk on got in for the last minute. His #33 jersey does not have his name on it
