Enhanced Live Box Score

Boston College shot 51% from the floor and 47% percent from 3's en route to a 19 point win over Bryant University. BC held Bryant scoreless for the first 5 minutes of the second half while building their lead up to 33 points. To Bryant's credit they fought back but Boston College's lead was never smaller than 11 points. Skinner played all 12 players today, though the offensive star was Rakim Sanders. Sanders led the way with 19 points, including  career high 5 three pointers and 2 rim rattling slams off fast break finishes. Raji finished with 15 points and Joe Trapani had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Tyrese Rice had only 10 points but added 7 assists. He was more of a game manager today and made several nice no-look passes. Reggie Jackson chipped in 10 points as well.

I was very impressed with the offense today. They seem to be settling into their own just in time for conference play. It's tough to really asses the team against weak competition like this, but I was encouraged by the shooting today. The team took good shots and made their open looks. The team has another tune-up game against South Carolina-Upstate this Sunday at 1pm before hosting Providence on Dec 20th.

Factor of the Game

BC held Bryant to 8 points for a stretch of 20 minutes (13 minute mark in the 1st half to 7 minutes into the 2nd half) in which Bryant saw their TO% double.  Over that stretch BC started to protect the ball and saw their lead increase to almost 30 points.
