UNC will have one exhibition then open the season vs Tulane in New Orleans. The Heels will return to Chapel Hill for two games before playing the next six games away from the Dean Smith Center returning on December 4th. The Maui Invitational field includes Chaminade, UConn, Georgetown, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Texas and Wisconsin.
Five of UNC's six games in December are at home with the only game away from Chapel Hill being a neutral site game vs Kentucky in Las Vegas. UNC welcomes Radford, Davidson, a Rick Barnes coached Tennessee team, Northern Iowa and King Rice's Monmouth to fill out the non-conference slate.
The ACC schedule has not been released but we know the match-ups.
Home/Road: Duke, NC State, Virginia, Pitt
Home: Florida State, Virginia Tech, Louisville, Syracuse, Notre Dame
Road: Miami, Georgia Tech, Clemson, Wake Forest, Boston College
UNC will play 14 non-conference teams and 18 in ACC play for a 32 game regular season schedule which is the most ever under Roy Williams. 16 of those games will be at home.
