Talking to the media at the 2023-24 ACC Tipoff, Virginia Tech head coach Mike Young was asked about star player Hunter Cattoor getting a chance to design a play for the team. Young at first joked that Cattoor had screwed it up, but then explained how it happened and praised Cattoor for getting it perfect before confirming that the play is still part of the playbook.
