The Wake Forest Demon Deacons came out of the gate hot and didn't slow down as they dispatched the Syracuse Orange, 99-70 at home in Lawrence Joel Memorial Coliseum. Hunter Sallis got things started for the Deacs, scoring 15 of his game-high 24 points before halftime. Kevin "Boopie" Miller added 21 points and Andrew Carr chipped in 16 points for Steve Forbes' team. The Deacs shot 66% from the floor, including 63% from three-point range while holding Cuse to just 40% shooting for the game.
