Just when you think the Jameis Winston circus is going to die down, we get this little nugget from FSU's Jimbo Fisher today.
Jimbo also explained why Jameis Winston won't be doing weekly press conferences anymore. He said trying to give him more time for academics.

I guess Jimbo Fisher just thinks we're all idiots. Fisher could have handled the situation with honesty or ambiguity, and either would have worked. Of course, he went with an outright farce of a comment. Sure FSU fans will come to his defense and say there is some truth to his comment, but we (Jimbo included) all know there is more to it than that.
Instead of continuing to pick apart this ridiculous line of thinking, I submit other ways that Fisher could have handled the situation. Jameis Winston won't be doing his weekly press conference because...
- He'll be watching game tape of Sean Maguire to improve his post-interception tackling
- He's working on finding the perfect GIF response to Jimbo's eyeroll when seeing him in pads prior to the Clemson game.
- He's doing research so he can win his Survivor fantasy game this year. (Survivor starts tomorrow night! Nothing could go wrong with a guy like John Rocker on the show. Somehow I hope he ends up throwing 97 mph coconuts at competitors.)
- He's a kid and he's still learning how to properly handle this situation.
Maybe that last one was the best response he could have given.
