The ACC was once again undefeated on Saturday, with Virginia picking up the most impressive win of the day. The Cavaliers won at Davidson, despite only getting one point from Joe Harris. The Virginia offense didn't skip a beat though as Mike Tobey and Malcolm Brogdon carried the load.
NC State picked up a win over Campbell 81-66 (we'll just ignore the 2-12 FT shooting for the Pack) and Syracuse defeated Colgate 69-50.
Today, there ACC non-conference games with Notre Dame, Clemson, and Maryland playing teams ranked around 100 in the KenPom rankings.
In football yesterday, there were a couple really interesting performances. Duke's win over Miami still has ACC fans shaking their heads. Is Duke football really 8-2? Maryland's win over Virginia Tech was nearly as surprising. It's been a solid year for ACC football, particularly in terms of depth. Consider this...
The ACC has eight bowl tie-ins (9 with a second BCS team). Could have 12 eligible teams. Get that paper, Swoffy. Get that paper.
