Wake Forest had the big win of Monday night, as the Deacs topped Indiana 82-78 in Maui. Dinos MItiglou and Devin Thomas carried the load for Wake Forest combining for 39 points and 16 rebounds. Wake has #19 Vanderbilt up next.
UNC rolled over Northwestern 80-69, but the big story was the guy in uniform on the bench. Marcus Paige went through warmups and is said to be very close to returning. On the floor, Justin Jackson led the way with 21 points and 13 rebounds.
The "bad loss of the night" award goes to Clemson, who lost to Massachusetts 82-65, and the score wasn't really that close. The Tigers trailed 44-22 at half.
NC State also lost 79-76 to Arizona State on Monday. The Pack fought back late to make it a game, but ultimately fell short. Cat Barber led the way with 22 points and 8 assists. The Pack struggled on the boards though, as Arizona State grabbed 45% of their own misses resulting 10 more field goal attempts for the game.
FSU topped Ohio on Monday 90-81 behind big games from Bacon and Beasley. Get used to hearing that.
