On Sunday FSU beat Virginia 69-62 in the only game on the schedule. After a slow first half offensively, the two teams picked things up in the second half. FSU, in particular, got things going in the 2nd half averaging over 1.4 points per possession and Virginia simply couldn't keep up. The Cavaliers had particular trouble executing their halfcourt offense late and it led to the road loss. Virginia's loss wasn't too surprising considering this nugget...
Tonight, the only ACC game on the schedule has Duke hosting Syracuse. The Blue Devils are coming off of consecutive losses to Clemson and Notre Dame, and without a lot of turnaround time either. Syracuse is coming off of a blowout win at Wake Forest so the Orange should be ready tonight. Game Sim is predicting a close one, so make sure to tune in for this one.
