The ACC has been able to outperform expectations in the NCAA tournament, especially in the last three tournaments, sending at least one team to the Final Four in each of the last three seasons, and multiple teams to the Elite Eight. Before the start of the 2024-25 season, we asked players and coach why they believe the ACC has had so much success in March. They listed things like the fact that there is a lot of balance in the conference, the fact that there are many different play styles around the conference, and the guard play.
