On Tuesday evening, Virginia picked up a 69-62 win at home over Clemson and NC State steamrolled Pitt and won 78-61.
The Cavaliers bounced back after a loss at FSU on Sunday with a solid home win over Clemson. It wasn't exactly a vintage Virginia win based on defense, but instead UVA's efficient offense that won the game. UVA posted an eFG% nearing 60 on the night, thanks in large part to Malcolm Brogdon who finished with 20 points on 7-11 shooting.
NC State absolutely blitzed Pitt and had a double-figure lead pretty much the entire way. As usual, Cat Barber led the Pack with 31 points, 8 assists, and 7 rebounds. After scoring just 41 points against Louisville, Pitt scored just 19 in the first half against NC State.
Tonight, we have 4 games on the ACC basketball schedule highlighted by FSU's trip to Louisville and Wake Forest traveling to UNC. One game to keep an eye on is Miami at BC. The Eagles are going to sneak up and get someone at some point and Miami has shown periods where they will play down to opponents. The other matchup of the night has Notre Dame, coming off of their Duke win, hosting 4-1 Virginia Tech.
