The ACC went 6-0 on Saturday with the marquee win being the Heels victory over Kentucky in Chapel Hill. North Carolina lived off forcing turnovers and scoring in the paint. Kentucky dominated the boards and free throws were once again a concern for UNC, but the Heels walked away with another victory over a ranked opponent. Notre Dame picked up a nice win over Indiana in the Crossroads Classic. This isn't a powerhouse Indiana team, although they are ranked 37 in the NCAAGameSim.com rankings. The Irish defense was better in stretches in this one and Jerian Grant and Garrick Sherman led the offense.
Elsewhere in the ACC, Clemson rolled against a weak Furman squad, NC State and Maryland won games that were closer than they should have been, and Pitt cruised past Youngstown State.
Last night, FSU's Jameis Winston won the Heisman capping off a successful run for the ACC in the postseason awards.
Today, there are two games on the slate as BC takes on Philadelphia University and Syracuse plays St. John's. Check out the links, previews, and more below.
