What a poor weekend for Notre Dame basketball. The Irish saw an 8 point lead disappear against Ohio State on Saturday in the final minute and then lost their leading scorer, Jerian Grant, for the rest of the season due to academic problems. In less than 2 weeks Notre Dame opens up ACC play against Duke. I'm not sure what Mike Brey did to deserve this for Christmas.
In other bad weekend news, Maryland lost to Boston University. BU was ranked in the high 100's on the NCAAGameSim.com rankings going into the game. The good news for the Terps is Seth Allen is getting closer to returning.
