On Monday night, Syracuse lost to a pretty bad UConn team in the Garden in what was hyped to be a throwback to the Big East days. After watching that one, I think everyone is pretty happy we don't have to watch the traditional Big East anymore. Neither team shot well, executed well, and quite frankly UConn made just a few more plays down the stretch. For Syracuse, there's a lot to learn.
Tonight, we have several games on the scheduled highlighted by Duke's matchup with Florida at 9 PM on ESPN. This will be our first true look at what Duke might look like with most everyone back. It's bound to be ugly at times for a Duke team that has rarely practiced together. The coaching staff is still trying to piece together rotations, so I'd expect an inconsistent Duke squad. Do they have enough talent to beat a good Florida team? I'd say the answer is still yes.
