The streak lives on in Chapel Hill. North Carolina defeated Clemson in Chapel Hill for the 57th straight time, but it was how they did it that mattered. The Heels defeated Clemson by 19 and showed a renewed energy and effort that hasn't been seen for most of this season. James Michael McAdoo led the way with 22 points, but also with his defensive intensity. UNC moves to 2-4 in conference play, but the big question is, have the Heels turned a corner? Clemson drops to 4-3 in conference play.
NC State picked up an 80-78 win over Georgia Tech in overtime on Sunday. TJ Warren hit the game-winner, but it wouldn't have mattered if it wasn't for the play of Tyler Lewis in regulation. NC State saw themselves trailing by double-figures early in the second half before Lewis came in the game and sparked the Pack and the crowd with his play. The Pack are now 3-4 in ACC play while Georgia Tech drops to 2-5.
Only one game on the ACC basketball schedule tonight, but its a good one. Duke travels to Pitt in what should be an interesting game. Game Sim has Duke picking up a road win by 4 but Vegas likes Pitt by 4 to win at home. Something has to give.
