The story on Saturday in the ACC was Florida State winning the ACC Championship with a 45-7 victory over Duke. The Blue Devils kept the Noles scoreless for a quarter, but FSU settled down and handled business the rest of the way. Next stop is Pasadena for FSU where they will play for the college football national championship against Auburn.

On the basketball court, Virginia is showing some cause for concern. Tony Bennett's trip back to Green Bay, where he played his college career, turned out to be a bad one as UVA lost 75-72. The only other ACC team to drop a game on Saturday was Clemson, who traveled to play a pretty good Arkansas team. It's not exactly a bad loss for the Tigers.
Today, we get our first ACC conference game of the season. Kind of exciting, right? That is, until you realize its Virginia Tech at Miami. The matchup should be a pretty good one, even if it isn't an elite matchup.
