I wish I could remember who it was on twitter that said it, but unfortunately I can't give proper credit. Paraphrasing "You know Duke hasn't had one of those 'go crazy from 3 games' yet." The Blue Devils did just that in their 80-65 win over Pittsburgh. Andre Dawkins led the way from deep making 6 of 7 3 point attempts while the team made 13-25. In fact, Duke made a better percentage of their three point shots (13-25, 52%) than they did two point shots (15-33, 46%). With the win, Duke moves up to #4 in the NCAAGameSim.com rankings.
For Pitt, its another missed opportunity at a key win and the schedule won't offer too many more chances. Pitt will host Virginia next and will host Syracuse on February 12th in what will be an important game for the Panthers.
Tonight, Virginia visits Notre Dame in the only game on the ACC basketball schedule. Check out links, a preview, and more below.
